Privacy Policy

Account and support: name, verified phone number, Firebase user ID, and any email, message, attachment, or related information you send to support. Authentication providers may also process IP address, device, browser, and security information.

Search and location: search and excluded terms, prices, radius, city or address, precise latitude and longitude, time zone, and search and notification preferences. With permission, Sourcerer uses a one-time, foreground device location to establish a search area. It does not collect continuous or background location, and you may enter a location manually.

Deal Wizard and app activity: up to 50 recent instructions, generated preference profiles, favorites, link clicks, dismissals, spam reports, ratings, listing identifiers and details, and recalibration status.

Inventory and business records: item details, dates, photographs you select, notes, prices, expenses, labor, profit calculations, goals, fulfillment and location information, and summaries. Sourcerer does not collect bank credentials or complete payment-card numbers.

Subscriptions, notifications, and technical data: Apple and RevenueCat subscription and entitlement records; push tokens and preferences; and IP address, device and operating-system information, app version, security tokens, timestamps, errors, and service logs. The current app does not use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking.

Speech and marketplace data: Deal Wizard dictation is configured for on-device speech recognition, and Sourcerer does not intentionally upload or retain raw audio. Submitted transcripts are treated like typed instructions. Sourcerer also processes third-party listing titles, prices, locations, images, URLs, identifiers, timestamps, categories, and descriptions.

Website information: website hosting and security providers may process IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, referring page, timestamps, and security or error logs. The current website does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

We use information to create and secure accounts; configure searches; retrieve and display listings; send feeds and notifications; personalize Deal Wizard; generate AI-assisted preference profiles; store inventory and business records; calculate summaries, goals, and profits; manage subscription access; provide support; prevent abuse; diagnose failures; enforce our Terms; comply with law; and maintain and improve the Service. We do not use it for marketing emails.

Deal Wizard sends OpenAI submitted and recent instructions, feedback-derived context, and limited listing details to generate a preference profile. Sourcerer does not send your name or phone number for this purpose. Requests include a persistent, privacy-preserving safety identifier derived from your Sourcerer user ID.

Requests use store: false. OpenAI may retain prompts, responses, and related metadata in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days unless another approved configuration or legal requirement applies. OpenAI states that API content is not used to train its models by default unless the customer opts in. Review OpenAI’s API data controls and Privacy Policy. Google Cloud AI may process limited listing text or images for comparison and filtering.

We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, or another party’s independent marketing. We disclose information only as needed to operate, secure, and maintain the Service.

Providers include Google and Firebase for authentication, databases, storage, cloud processing, security, messaging, maps, and AI; Apple for distribution, billing, refunds, notifications, permissions, maps, and system speech; RevenueCat for subscription entitlements; OpenAI for Deal Wizard profiles; RapidAPI and marketplace-data providers for listing searches; and email providers when you contact support. Marketplace requests may include search terms, coordinates, price, and radius, but Sourcerer does not intentionally include your name or phone number.

We may also disclose information to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, enforce agreements, or complete a business transfer with appropriate protections. We require providers receiving personal information to provide the same or equivalent protection described here and required by law.

Account information, searches, inventory, photographs, Deal Wizard information, and preferences generally remain while your account is active or until you edit or delete them. Deal Wizard keeps up to 50 recent instructions. Standard Google Cloud operational logs are configured for 30 days, an account-deletion marker may remain for up to 24 hours, and OpenAI abuse-monitoring logs may remain for up to 30 days. Support records are kept only as reasonably needed for support, business records, security, and disputes. Providers may retain records under their own requirements.

You may permanently delete your account in Sourcerer’s settings. This initiates deletion of the Firebase Authentication account, Sourcerer user data, linked search and notification records, stored inventory photographs, and the associated RevenueCat customer record. Limited records may remain for security, fraud prevention, disputes, legal compliance, or Apple-controlled payments. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple subscription; cancel through Sourcerer or Apple Subscriptions.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of account information, withdraw optional permissions, or appeal a denied request. Email support.sourcerer.ai@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may verify account control. Manage location, microphone, speech, and notification permissions in iOS Settings. You can remove selected inventory photographs by editing the item or deleting your account. We do not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Sourcerer is for adults 18 or older and does not knowingly collect information from children. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information. We use reasonable safeguards including authenticated access, Firebase security rules, App Check, encrypted network transmission, restricted credentials, and account-scoped storage, but no system is completely secure.

Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate. External marketplace links and services have their own privacy practices once you leave Sourcerer.

We may update this Policy as the Service, law, or data practices change. We will update the date below and provide additional notice when reasonably required, including appropriate notice before material changes where required.
